On this shiok National Day Sunday, I’m sharing my review on a linen suit and a sports jacket made by local tailor, Meiko Tailor. Featuring this Singapore homegrown brand and highlighting the craftsmanship of Uncle Chung (who’s part of the Pioneer generation) – I can think of no better article to publish today!
Meiko Tailor is decidedly in the bespoke sphere, where Master Tailor Uncle Chung handles the client’s fitting, drafting, and cutting personally.
All in all, I really enjoy the green linen suit from Meiko Tailor. Firstly, it fits terrifically, and the experience of Uncle Chung really shone through here. Secondly, the workmanship is impeccable, full of delightful little details. Lastly, I absolutely love how I look in the suit. It’s a colour that I genuinely believe more men should wear. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it, and it’s currently one of my favourite suits to wear.

The above is a re-published blog from @Wahsoshiok when Qi Le returns to us to commission a new two-piece Irish linen suit and a sports jacket, both to go with our in-house stonewash pure linen shirt.
